Welcome to Pinnacle News

Well, the last few months have proved extremely challenging for all with the ongoing Greater Sydney COVID lock-down and restrictions in place.

Whilst rules imposed by the Government have limited the numbers of workers allowed on any one site, we are extremely fortunate that we have been able to continue working and progressing current projects for our clients.

However, the NSW Government amended the Public Health Order to remove the 50% cap on capacity limits for unoccupied construction sites. This change came into effect from Monday 27 September 2021, meaning that building sites are now permitted to exceed the 50% cap where all workers meet the current vaccination requirements for authorised workers.

Timber supply and shortage issues continue to affect the industry, with materials having to be ordered months in advance to ensure it is available and delivered in time for projects to commence. Unfortunately, the shortage has also seen an increase in the cost of timber with price rises of a whopping 20-30 per cent impacting home-builders.

As we head into October and with only 12 weeks until we reach Christmas, it is pleasing to see that we are on track to complete all our current projects ready for our clients to enjoy their new homes in time the festive season.

Finally we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their ongoing support.

Cheers from
